Wayne Olson

Wayne Olson Wayne Alexander Olson, 52, Burbank, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008 at Sanford Medical Center, Sioux Falls. He was born Oct. 28, 1956 in Vermillion to Cecil and Doris (Ernst) Olson. He farmed from 1976 to 2000, and retired due to health reasons. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Vermillion, the Bald Eagles CB Club, and Trinity Lutheran Church, Vermillion. He is survived by his mother, Doris, of Burbank; a brother, Thomas, of Springfield; a sister, Sue (Dave) Winkler of Vermillion; four nieces, one grand-niece and one grand-nephew. Celebration of his life was held Saturday, Nov. 1, at 3;30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Vermillion, with the Rev. Ed Anderson officiating. Burial will be in BluffView Cemetery at a later date. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil; a sister, Linda Verros; and his paternal and maternal grandparents, Stephord and Belva Olson and Alexander and Bertha Ernst.
