Welcome Table meets Dec. 1 The Vermillion Welcome Table meets from 5:30-7 pm at the United Methodist Church, 16 N. Dakota. The Dec. 1 meal will be prepared and served by the Pi Phi sorority from USD. Thanks to all who helped make the Thanksgiving meal at the National Guard Armory such a success. The following businesses contributed food and other supplies: Farner-Bocken, Reinhart Food Services, Hawkeye Food Services, Braunger's Food Services, Staber's Meat Company, Hy-Vee of Vermillion, Jones Food Center of Vermillion, and Wal-Mart of Vermillion. Special thanks to the crew from Cherry Street Grille for cooking and slicing the 24 turkeys.
