Exchange vows

Exchange vows Stacey Munkvold and Michael Zerfas were united in marriage Dec. 5, 2008, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Vermillion, with the Rev. Ed Anderson officiating. Parents of the couple are Monty and Jane Munkvold, Vermillion; and Cathy Zerfas, Yankton; and Dan Zerfas, Sioux Falls. Maid of honor was Becky Hanson, Vermillion. Bridesmaids were Melissa Behrens, Brookings; Elizabeth Dockter, Sioux Falls; Jenny Zerfas, Sioux Falls; and Ashley Uecker, Sioux Falls. Lauren Johnson, cousin of bride, Sioux Falls, was flower girl, and Karson Bierle, cousin of bride, Utica, was ring bearer. John Zerfas, Hampton, VA, was best man. Groomsmen were PJ Zerfas, Sioux Falls;  Bryan Reuter, Sidney, MT; Philip Munkvold, Vermillion; and Joe Hoyle, Sioux Falls. Music for the ceremony was provided by Christy Kimball,  pianist and Philip Munkvold, soloist. A reception following the wedding ceremony was held for the couple at the Eagles in Vermillion. The couple now resides in Sioux Falls. Stacy is a graduate of Vermillion High School, and is employed as a teaching assistant at New Hope Family Daycare in Sioux Falls. Michael is a graduate of Yankton High School. He is currently attending Southeast Technical Institute, Sioux Falls, where he is studying network administration to become a computer systems administrator.
