Local students receive degrees Western Iowa Tech Comm-unity College (WITCC) conferred 173 degrees, diplomas and certificates at its fall commencement ceremony Dec. 18 at Eppley Auditorium. Lt. Marti Reilly, professional standards accreditation manager for the Sioux City Police Department, delivered the commencement address. Dr. Robert Rasmus, president of WITCC's board of directors, awarded the certificates, diplomas and degrees. Graduates from Vermillion include Jami Lynn McDonald with a pharmacy technician degree, and Laurie L. Kegley, who majored in practical nursing.
