Scholastic Book Fair held at Vermillion Public Library The Holiday Scholastic Book Fair comes to the Vermillion Public Library Dec. 11-14.  Shop a great selection of books for holiday gifts and for your own reading.  Books for readers of all ages will be available.  The sale features traditional children's favorites, books for all ages of children and adults, and new works by popular authors and illustrators.  The sale is open to the public during regular library hours on Thursday, Dec. 11, 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m.; Friday, Dec.12, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 13, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 14, 1-5 p.m.  Shoppers can donate books for the Library's ESA Giving Tree at the book fair.   The Scholastic Book Fair is held each December to make high quality reading material available for holiday reading.  Proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase books for the Library's collection, for the ESA Giving Tree, and for the Summer Reading Program at the Library.  The Scholastic Book Fair is sponsored by the Friends of the Vermillion Public Library to earn books for the Library and support programs such as the Summer Reading Program, ESA Giving Tree, and equipment purchases.  For more information, call the library at 677-7060 or e-mail vpl@sdln.net
