BF-LF seeking
volunteer mentors Big Friend-Little Friend, Inc. of Clay and Union counties is starting its 12th year as a mentoring program, and is seeking volunteers to match with youth. Right now, there are three boys in Vermillion, one boy in Elk Point, and one boy in North Sioux City who would like to find an adult friend. An adult female is seeking a little friend in Vermillion, age 6-11 years old. The program is also seeking a girl age 6-10 in the Elk Point or Jefferson area to match with a 17-year-old female volunteer. All mentors are screened and interviewed prior to matches, and volunteers can come from surrounding states if they are close to the border.
