David Nelson Seney David Nelson Seney, 64, of Burbank, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2009 at Sanford Vermillion Hospital after a brief illness. David was born to Albert and Lela (Trudeau) Seney on Oct. 27, 1944 in Akron, IA. He was a lifelong resident of Burbank with his wife Cheryl (Johnson). Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Vermillion with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Vermillion. Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday with a wake service at 7 p.m., all at the church. David was passionate about truck driving and farming. He was a fun, loving person with a great sense of humor. The most important thing in Davidâ�?�?s life was his family. He was a true friend to many with a very generous nature. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Cheryl of Burbank; his son, Larry (Jody) and their children, Eric, Adam Blas�?© of Grand Island, NE; his two daughters, Tammy Baisden and her life partner, Ember Rhode of Vermillion, and Bridget Hohbach of Yankton; his grandsons, Karlis Baisden, Dustin Seney both of Vermillion and Devan Hohbach of Yankton; his sister, Judy (Shorty) Hanson of Vermillion; his brother, Bill (Eleanor) Seney of Beresford; and his mother-in-law, Vera Johnson of Vermillion. David was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lela Seney; two sisters, Betty GoBell and Joyce Button; and a special memory of Baby David Hohbach.
