USD women taking part in WBCA Pink Zone event

USD women taking part in WBCA Pink Zone event The University of South Dakota womenâ�?�?s basketball team is taking part in the WBCAâ�?�?s Pink Zone Celebration during its home game against Houston Baptist on 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 16. The WBCA Pink Zone is an effort by Womenâ�?�?s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses and in communities.�?  The USD womenâ�?�?s team will wear pink shoelaces and pink warmup shirts at Mondayâ�?�?s game as part of the celebration. Coyote basketball fans are encouraged to wear pink to Mondayâ�?�?s game as well. �? Several activities are planned as part of Mondayâ�?�?s celebration, which is presented by Barnes & Noble at USD. Barnes & Noble will have pink merchandise and breast-cancer awareness merchandise available at their display at Mondayâ�?�?s game. Promotional T-shirts will be tossed out to fans in the crowd. In addition, breast-cancer survivors from the area will receive free admission to the game and will be honored at halftime. �?
