Vermillion High School to offer ACT course Vermillion High School will offer an ACT prep for students taking the ACT this spring. This course offers you an excellent opportunity to thoroughly prepare for the ACT. It is structured to give you proven strategies and preparation for the test. You will receive sample tests and answer guides to help you prepare as well as assistance from Vermillion High School teachers. Additional review on www.LearningExpressLibrary.com and www.number2.com is also available. Course times are as follows: Tuesday, March 17, 6-8 p.m., Room 10, test taking strategies/English, Carla Kozak and Betsy Simons, facilitators, Thursday, March 19, 6-8 p.m., Room 10, test taking strategies/reading, Betsy Simons and Carla Kozak, facilitators, Tuesday, March 24, 6-8 p.m., Room 10, test taking strategies/science, Tanna Miiller, facilitator, Thursday, March 26, 6-8 p.m., Room 10, test taking strategies/math, Nichole Tarr, facilitator, and Monday, March 30, 4-6 p.m., Room 16 Computer Lab, writing session, immediate feedback and scoring of essay. The cost for this course is $40, payable to Vermillion High School. Register in the guidance office by March 6. If you register before March 2, you will receive a $5 discount.
