Youth wrestlers
place in tournaments Vermillion youth wrestlers continue to make a strong statement as they participated in tournaments last weekend around the state. Vermillion youth traveled to Canton on Friday evening and put together a strong willed 11-man team (a full team consists of 15 wrestlers) who fell just short of a second place team finish. Wrestlers participating on the team were Mason Pickett, Trey Hage, Brody Surrell, Brett and Kobe Culver, Kyle Seibel, Lucas Anglin, Carter and Jack Kratz, Regan Bye and Brett Bye. Vermillion will be hosting their youth tournament on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. at the Vermillion High School gym. Vermillion will also be the host for this year��?s Region 5 District 9 youth tournament. Please come and show your support for the Vermillion wrestling program.
