Bentley defeats USD Women��?s Tennis Bentley University defeated The University of South Dakota women's tennis team, 6-3, Sunday in Orlando, FL. It was the first action on the Florida swing for USD, which will play six matches total on the trip. Shadi Soleymani (Fr., Vasteras, Sweden) and Isabel Nunez (Oakville, Ontario) each won singles matches for the Coyotes. Soleymani rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 win over Bentley's Kelly Fleszar at No. 1 singles, while Nunez won a tough 7-5, 0-6, 12-10 (third set super tiebreaker) decision at No. 3 singles over Bentley's Andrea Hollot. Soleymani and Rijalda Zejnic (Jr., Hamilton, Ontario) teamed up for an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles for USD. Bentley entered Sunday's match ranked No. 7 in the ITA East Region. "It was our first time playing outdoors," USD head coach Malcolm Gilreath said. "The ladies played pretty well. We ran into a good team. We knew there would be some close matches and they were."
