Celebrate St. Patrickâ�?�?s Day at Washington Street Arts Center Live music, hearty Irish stew and barley soup, and breads from Vermillion's finest baker, Larry Smith, will grace the Washington Street Arts Center on St. Patrick's Day, Tuesday, March 17. The Vermillion Area Arts Council's annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will also feature a children's art activity table and door prizes for new and current Arts Council members. The celebration includes offerings of Guinness Stout, Harp Lager, wine, and non-alcohol beverages. Local folk trio Kickland, Johnson and Martin will entertain guests for the entire evening. Tickets to the St. Patrick's Day Celebration, which include admittance to the event and all food, are $8 for each Vermillion Area Arts Council adult member; $12 for non-member adults; $5 for children ages 11 – 18, and free for children ages 10 and under. Tickets are available in advance at the Coffee Shop Gallery and Nook 'n Cranny in downtown Vermillion.
