Charles Cammock, MD, named Chief Of Staff at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital Charles Cammock, MD, Yankton Anesthesiology, has been elected the 2009 Chief of Staff for the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital Medical Staff. Dr. Cammock takes over for Dr. Carroll Isburg, Yankton Medical Clinic, P.C., who served as the 2007 and 2008 Chief of Staff. Dr. Cammock, a board-certified anesthesiologist, is a graduate of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his residency in anesthesia at The Ohio State University. He has practiced in Yankton since 1999. The Chief of Staff leads the medical staff organization consisting of 63 active/associate physicians and 58 courtesy/consulting physicians. The Chief of Staff also serves as an ex-officio member on the Avera Sacred Heart Board of Directors. Officers elected for the ASHH Medical Executive Committee include: Michael Pietila, MD, YMC, vice-president; and Mary Milroy, MD, YMC, secretary/treasurer. Newly elected to the committee are David Withrow, MD, YMC, and Douglas Neilson, MD, Yankton Bone, Joint and Sports Medicine. Other members of the Medical Executive Committee include: Dr. Robert Neumayr, YMC, Dr. Curtis Adams, YMC, Dr. David Barnes, YMC, and Dr. Thomas Buttolph, Physicians Laboratory.
