Golden anniversary

Golden anniversary Friends and family are invited to help celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of Les and Carolyn (Cleland) DeRoos of Alta, IA. The couple's celebration will be held 2 to 5 p.m. April 5 in the Summit Evangelical Free Church in Alta, IA. Les and Carolyn are parents of six children, Les DeRoos, Alta, IA; Lee DeRoos, Whiting, IA; Nick DeRoos, Sioux City, IA; Doug DeRoos, Sioux City, IA; Louie DeRoos, Aurelia, IA and Lynann (DeRoos) Launderville, Alta, IA. They also have 17 grandchildren. Les and Carolyn's anniversary is Sept. 3, but they are celebrating early because their oldest son, Les, and his family (missionaries) will be leaving for Nigeria in late April.
