Obituaries DALE HENDRICKS A memorial service celebrating the life of Dale Hendricks, 91, of Cleburne, TX will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the First Baptist Church of Cleburne with Dr. Danny Crosby officiating. Lunch and visitation with the family will follow in the Atrium. Dale passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 in Cleburne. He was born in Clay County, South Dakota on March 23, 1917, the son of Vera Marie (Curtis) and Wesley S. Hendricks. Dale and Shirley Howard were married on April 1, 1944 in Little Rock, AK. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cleburne and was a retired petroleum engineer. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Dale Hendricks is survived by his wife, Shirley Hendricks, of Cleburne; daughter, Jan Garvey and husband, Richard, of Corsicana; grandson, Aaron Knott and wife, Kandi, of Grand Prairie; granddaughter, Lindsay Cottle, and husband, Terry, of Mansfield; great-grandchildren, Jaimie, Peyton and Derek Knott, and Carson Cottle; brother, Verne Hendricks of Sioux Falls; and sister, Norma Johnson, of Vermillion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the FBC Building Fund, 105 E. Willingham, Cleburne, TX 76033 or to the charity of your choice.
