Ruby D. Glodery Ruby D. Glodery, age 84, of Los Angeles, CA, passed away on Feb. 18, 2009 at Marina Del Rey Hospital, Marina Del Rey, CA. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009 at the Inglewood Mortuary with the Rev. Anderson officiating. Interment followed in the Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, CA. Ruby Della Glodery was born Dec. 12, 1924 at Vermillion, the daughter of Raymond and Daisy (Gray) Gregg. She attended Roosevelt Grade School through the eighth grade. She was the fourth in her family to graduate with perfect attendance from the University High School with the class of 1942. After graduation, she worked for Dr. W.H. Fairbanks. She married Alvin (Gregg) Glodery on April 2, 1947 in Sioux Falls. Upon her husband's graduation from The University of South Dakota, they moved to California. Her husband died on July 8, 1968. She then went to work for Air Research and worked there until her retirement. Ruby was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints church. She is survived by her son, Greg (Chris) Glodery of Huntington Beach, CA; and daughter, Suzanne (Isaac) Lui of Kaileia, HI; five grandchildren, Traci Glodery, Wendi (Nathan) Forest, Drew Glassell, Joshua (Jonette) Lui and Justin (Melissa) Lui; two great-grandchildren, Joshah Lui and JonPaul Lui; a brother, Donald (Grace) Gregg of Vermillion; two sisters, Elsie Stibral of Brookings, and Bonnie (Duane) Pearson of Sioux Falls; a sister-in-law, Delores Gregg of Vermillion; a special niece, Bonnie Olson of Britton; and several nieces and nephews and many, many friends. She was preceded in death b; two great-grandchildren, Joshah Lui and JonPaul Lui; a brother, Donald (Grace) Gregg of Vermillion; two sisters, Elsie Stibral of Brookings, and Bonnie (Duane) Pearson of Sioux Falls; a sister-in-law, Delores Gregg of Vermillion; a special niece, Bonnie Olson of Britton; and several nieces and nephews and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, Melvin Gregg and Lorin Gregg; and three sisters, Lois Goodburn, Fern Alkire and Dorothy Foelker-Flinders.
