Bradley to
present ��?Missouri River Oddities��? Dr. Larry Bradley will present "Missouri River Oddities" at the Literary Luncheon on Thursday, April 16 at the Vermillion Public Library. Join the Friends, and Mayor Dan and Gloria Christopherson for this special Sesquicentennial program. Dr. Bradley is an archeologist who has studied a local Paleo-Indian site inhabited 10,000 years ago, a 5,000-year-old bison kill site, and 19th Century steamboats on the Missouri River in our area, including the wreckages of steamboats in the Missouri River in the Vermillion area. The luncheon will be held in the Community Room of the Vermillion Public Library. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12:10 p.m. Tickets are $9 per person and can be purchased before April 13 at 5 p.m. at the Vermillion Public Library during regular library hours.
