Engaged

Engaged Melissa Chicoine and Jonathan Baatz would like to announce their engagement. Melissa is a 1995 graduate of Vermillion High School and a 2004 graduate of The University of South Dakota, Vermillion, with an Associates of Science in Nursing degree. She is currently working towards an online RN degree from South Dakota State University, Brookings. She will graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2010. Melissa is currently employed at the MUSC Children's Hospital in Charleston, SC in the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU. Melissa is the daughter of Mary Chicoine, Vermillion. Jonathan is a 1995 graduate from Hills Beaver Creek High School (MN) and a 1997 graduate from Southeast Tech, Sioux Falls with a sales and marketing degree. He is currently attending ECPI in Charleston, SC for IT networking and securities administration, to graduate in 2010. Jonathan is currently employed with Esurance, located in Sioux Falls, as a licensed insurance agent who sells automobile insurance and works from home. Jonathan is the son of Barb Zirpel, Sioux Falls. The wedding will take place May 22 at the Sandals Dunn's River Villagio Resort in Jamaica.
