Helene Marie Showalter

Helene Marie Showalter Helene Marie (Johnson) Showalter, 80, of Vermillion, died Monday, April 13, 2009 at Prairie Estates Care Center, Elk Point. Helene was born Jan. 10, 1929 in Vermillion. She was an operator on rental properties and enjoyed her years as a teacher. She had a special love for her pets, especially her cats. She lived many places and loved all of her friends. She was an avid reader and loved to cook. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Iverson-Siecke-Kober Funeral Home, Vermillion, is in charge of arrangements.
