Orientation sessions for Boys and Girls Staters to be held

Orientation sessions for Boys and Girls Staters to be held South Dakota American Legion and Legion Auxiliary are holding orientation sessions for Boys and Girls Staters for District 7, counties of Clay, Yankton, Bon Homme, Charles Mix, Hutchinson, and Douglas. The District 7, American Legion and Legion Auxiliary orientation sessions well be held on May 3 in Irene at the school, use the west door. This is for the counties of Clay, Yankton, and Bon Homme. The times orientation sessions will be registration starting at 1:30 p.m., program at 2 p.m. This is a very important information program for the boys and girls going to Boys and Girls State. It is good for the parents or guardians to come too, so they to will know what will be going on with their son or daughter. Boys and Girls State sessions are June 1-6. Boys State will be in Aberdeen on the campus of Northern State University. Girls State will be in Vermillion on the campus of The University of South Dakota. District 7 has a bus set up to get the Boys Staters to Aberdeen on June 1.
