Sasse wins
writing contest Alikah Sasse of Vermillion, won the South Dakota state championship AARP Grandparent of the Year writing contest. Alikah is a fifth grader at Jolly Elementary. Her teacher, Mrs. Mart submitted the paper to the contest. Alikah received a $500 US savings bond for winning the state championship. She will present her speech in Pierre on the April 29 at the presentation dinner.
