Development Company 906 East Cherry Street Vermillion, SD 57069 605-624-5571 Chamber Business: In preparation for our annual July 4 Celebration we are offering the opportunity to various organizations within the community to showcase their services at this popular community event.  Organizations in the past have used this opportunity to do fundraising either through selling food or merchandise or by having an activity set up for event goers.  As in previous years, the event will be held at Barstow Park from 6 p.m. to dark, followed by fireworks.  Entertainment options will include music and an activity area for kids with games and inflatables.  If you would like to participate or have questions regarding this event, please contact Carly at the VCDC office 624-5571 or email   This Weeks Happenings: • Theodore and Karen Muenster University Center, USD, dedication is Friday, May 15 at 3 p.m.  Everyone welcome! • 'Urban Five:  The Art of Healing', a contemporary art exhibit, will be in the Main Gallery of The Warren M. Live music by The McNeils.  A Sesquicentennial Event!  Everyone welcome. • Dalesburg MidSommar Festival will be held on Friday, June 19, starting at 2 p.m. on the grounds of the Dalesburg Lutheran Church, 12 miles north of Vermillion on University Road.
