â�?�?Budâ�?�? Christenson Eugene "Bud" Christenson, 88, passed away May 9,2009 in Mesa, AZ. Born and raised in Vermillion, Bud served his country in the Army Air Corps and was an active business and community member.  Bud is remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. In addition to his family, Bud was most proud of his service in World War II and for founding Tom & Bud's Super Valu. A memorial service will be held in Vermillion at the United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 30 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Serenity Hospice, 7227 N. 16th Street, Suite 235, Phoenix, AZ  85020.
