Roberta Iverson

Roberta Iverson Roberta Mae (Bye) Iverson, 81, of Vermillion, died peacefully May 12, 2009 at Avera Yankton Care Center. Roberta was born March 5, 1928 in Yankton to Hazen and Marie (Roozen) Bye. Roberta grew up in rural Yankton and Clay counties. She was married to Donald Iverson and together they raised five children. She was active with her family in a variety of activities including church, 4-H and school. Roberta worked for over 25 years in the USD business office as the payroll supervisor. After retirement she enjoyed crafts, gardening and volunteer work. Survivors include her children, Dennis (Robin) Iverson, Karen (Bill) Mount, Robert (Linda) Iverson, Bradley (Mary) Iverson, Karla (Steve) Wilson; her brothers, Gary (Carol) Bye, Doug (Mona) Bye; her grandchildren, Sarah (Jay) Johnson, Sonja (Ty) Schildhauer, Eric (Marieke) Iverson, Jeff (Dolores) Mount, Melissa (Ricardo) Castillo, Mark (Kristin) Iverson, Kirsten (Ryan) Wieman, Cullen Iverson, Katie (Pete) Difilippantonio, Kara (Eric) Monroe, Sarah Iverson, Lindsay (Andy) Maines, Jennie Wilson, Derek (Amanda) Wilson, Kelsey Wilson; 24 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Roberta was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Visitation was Thursday, May 21 from 5-7 p.m. with
