Sportswriter The Madison Invitational will be the last competition prior to the state tournament for Vermillion's boys' tennis team. Play begins in Madison at 9 a.m. Saturday.  Sioux Falls will host the state tourney May 21-23. Last week the Tanagers dropped a 9-0 decision to Yankton.  These were the individual results: Singles 1. Jordan Robinson lost to Cyrus Sorenson 1-6, 1-6. 2. Tyler Kielman lost to Jacob Rockne 1-6, 4-6. 3. AJ Walker lost to Michael Wilcox 2-6, 0-6. 4. Michael Walker lost to Jeremy Cap 0-6, 0-6. 5. Wes McBride lost to Evan Dykes 1-6, 1-6. 6. Dylan Scheidel lost to Drew Nichols 0-6, 0-6. Doubles 1. Kielman/AJ Walker lost to Sorenson/Rockne 1-6, 3-6. 2. Robinson/McBride lost to Wilcox/Cap 0-6, 3-7. 3. M.Walker/Deal lost to Dykes/Collin Michels 3-6, 1-6.
