Vermillion Public Library New How-to-Books Business Plans That Work: For Your Small Business; Junk Beautiful: Outdoor Edition, by Sue Whitney; 101 Internet Businesses You Can Start From Home, by Susan Sweeney; Creative Photo Collage, by Marie Browning; Better Homes and Gardens: Additions; Better Homes and Gardens: Decorating; Windpower, by Christopher Gillis; Song Writing, by Stephen Citron; Color Me Younger, by Veronique Henderson. Book Club The Book Club offers many selections to Internet patrons. Each book runs for five days, Monday through Friday. Be Creative @ Your Library Summer Reading Program Activities Monday, June 8: The members of the Vermillion High School Show Choir will be performing at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Tuesday, June 9:  Craft day – Personal Portfolio Pizza Box. This activity begins at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Wednesday, June 10:  Movie Day with the Tale of Despereaux. This film starts at 1:30 p.m.,  is grated G, and plays for 93 minutes. Friday, June 12th: The Readers Theater Group for first and second graders starts at 1:30 p.m. On your next trip to the library, check out the display case behind the circulation desk to see the reading prizes for the SRP. Donations Needed! The Summer Reading Program is asking for an assortment of household items to recycle into craft materials.  If you have any size coffee cans or cylinder oatmeal boxes, plastic margarine tubs, 'all-occasion' gift wrap, and scrapbooking paper. The Film Festival will be featuring Mr. Holland's Opus. This video stars Richard Dreyfuss as a frustrated composer who finds fulfillment as a high school music teacher while trying to compose a memorable piece of music to make him famous. This program is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m.
