Completes training

Completes training James Zimmerman of Meckling was recently promoted to the rank of Private First Class.  PFC Zimmerman is currently deployed, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, with Charlie Battery, First Battalion, 147th Field Artillery of Yankton. He completed his basic and his Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill, OK in 2008. PFC Zimmerman has been a member of the South Dakota Army National Guard for one year and is trained as a Multiple Launch Rocket System Crewmember(13M). Zimmerman is a 2007 Wakonda High School Graduate.  His parents are Holly and Jim Zimmerman of Meckling.
