Farmers Union camp is July 16 It's no television mystery why kids will want to attend the Farmers Union day camp themed, CSI: Cooperation, Service, and Involvement at the Clay County Farmers Union day camp this year on July 16at Prentis Park, the Southeast shelter in, Vermillion, SD. The day camp will give kids the chance to learn about rural South Dakota, cooperative business and Farmers Union in a safe and fun setting. The camp will also teach kids to work together, to get involved in their communities, and to serve others. Farmers Union Day Camp is open to young people ages 6 through 13. Camp activities will begin at 9 a.m. and will wrap up by 4 p.m. A snack and a free "CSI: Cooperation, Service and Involvement" camp T-shirt will be provided for every youngster attending. There will be a $5 registration fee for non Farmers Union members. Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch. Campers should also bring a suit and towel for swimming as well as $2 or pool pass.
