Celebrate Americaâ�?�?s Day with SDPB Happy Birthday U.S.A.! Join South Dakota Public Broadcasting for A Capitol Fourth extravaganza at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. Both SDPB Television and SDPB Radio celebrate with the musical tribute, broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, DC. Actor Jimmy Smits hosts a concert featuring Barry Manilow, the National Symphony Orchestra, the Choral Arts Society of Washington, Aretha Franklin, Natasha Bedingfield, Broadway stars, and event the Sesame Street Muppets.
