County commission
will meet July 28 The Clay County Commission is scheduled to hear several budget requests for 2010 at its July 28 meeting in the Clay County Courthouse. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Connie Wulf and the Soil Conservation Board; Ryan Anderson, E911 director; Phyllis Packard, Vermillion's solid waste director; and Alison Buckman of the Clay County Fair are all scheduled to appear before the commission with budget requests for next year. Other items on the agenda include drainage permit hearings for Larry Kappenman and Dan Knutson.
