Free concerts for SDPB studio audience Two great concerts – Kayla Marie, and the Public Domain Tune Band – are coming up at the South Dakota Public Broadcasting Television studio. You can go for free, and be part of the studio audience for No Cover, No Minimum. The concerts will air statewide later this year on SDPB Television. On July 10 at 8 p.m., teen-aged singer and guitar player Kayla Marie presents a mixture of music with a folk/ pop sound. On July 24 at 8 p.m., the Public Domain Tune Band features several well-known South Dakota musicians: Owen DeJong, Nick Schwebach, Larry Rohrer and C.J. Kocher. They play a variety of big band and swing music from the 20s and 30s era. No Cover, No Minimum, a classic SDPB TV series, spotlights performers who are from South Dakota, or performing in South Dakota. Every month, the classic SDPB Television music series presents a new generation of musical talents. On SDPB TV, Saturday, July 11, 10 p.m. : Omaha vocalist Chris Saub serenades the audience with a mellow combo of pop, folk and rock. On SDPB TV, Saturday, July 25, 10 p.m. : The Kickback, a popular Vermillion band, features a hard-rocking sound. Support local music. There's No Cover, No Minimum.
