Mary A. Hackett Mary A. Hackett, age 78, of Watertown, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, July 24, 2009. She was the widow of William A. "Bill" Hackett. All were invited to join the family at the Watertown Elks Lodge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 27, to celebrate Mary's life. A private family interment was at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Watertown. There was no visitation or reviewal. The family requests memorials to be designated to the Watertown Community Foundation. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Mary and Orville Brown of Edwards, MO, Bill and Connie Hackett of Brookings, and Jane and Bob Payne of Talala, OK; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and her brother, Bill Schumacher of Plymouth, MN.
