Second place with the better 35 was the team of Van Pierce, Shorty Hanson and Don Baer. In third position with the other 35 were Gerald Sommervold, Cleland Cook and Vern Holter. Taking fourth, uncontested at 36 was the team of Mo Marcotte, Bob Lund and Ken Beringer. The next three scores were 38s. Fifth place went to the team of Dick Burbach, Jim Grabowski and Jack Doyle due to the 18-foot birdie putt by Burbach at #3, which broke the three-way tie in favor of his team.
