To wed

To wed Duane and Michelle Johnson of Vermillion, and Bernard and Glenda Ofstehage of Elk Point, are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their children Amanda Johnson and Andrew Ofstehage. Amanda Johnson is a 2005 Vermillion High School graduate and a 2008 South Dakota State University alumni; she graduated with a BA in French and a BA in history. Amanda has recently finished a teaching assistantship in France and will soon begin a Masters program in library science at Simmons College in Boston, MA. Andrew is a 2005 Vermillion High School alumni and graduated from South Dakota State University with a BSc in Agronomy in 2008. He is studying for an MSc in rural development sociology at Wageningen University in The Netherlands. On Aug. 1, Amanda and Andrew will celebrate their marriage with their family and friends at Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church.
