Tanager Booster
Bash is Aug. 21 A hog roast and a variety of preseason sports events to whet fans' appetite for the upcoming high school seasons will be held Friday, Aug. 21, under the sponsorship of the Vermillion Athletic Boosters Board. The "Tanager Booster Bash" will start with a volleyball scrimmage in the VHS gym and a tennis scrimmage on the high school courts at 4:30 p.m. From there the event will move to the VHS football field where food will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. on a freewill-offering basis. Coaches will give previews for the fall seasons during that time. The evening will be capped off with a football scrimmage and a halftime performance from the dance team. The event is open to the public.
