Come participate or just cheer on a family member in this new exercise event at Bergen Lutheran Church. The theme of the event is "Pressing on Towards the Goal with Mind, Body, and Soul." The Bergen-Gayville Parish Nursing Program is hosting a new 5K and 10K event for runners, walkers and bikers, Oct. 3, at the Bergen Lutheran Church in rural Meckling on the corner of Timber Road and Bergen Ave.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. The event begins at 9 a.m. Finish line events and an after event brunch will be served beginning at 10 a.m. The event will begin and end at Bergen Lutheran Church.
Cost to participate is $15.00 for pre-registered participants (before Oct. 1). Registration is $20 the day of the event.
Registration fees include an event T-shirt. Preregistration by Sept. 15, ensures your T-shirt the day of the event. Some T- shirts may be available in assorted sizes the day of the event; T-shirts only available while supplies last.

Participants will eat free at the brunch. Guests can attend the brunch with a free will donation. Funds will benefit the Bergen/Gayville Parish Nurse Program with matching funds by Thrivent.
