Thiesse completes nursing home administrator license

Sanford Care Center Vermillion is proud to announce that Amy Thiesse, BSN, recently received her South Dakota Nursing Home Administrator's license.

Thiesse has worked at Sanford Vermillion Medical Center as the Director of Nursing, Long Term Care since July 2000. Thiesse earned her diploma in nursing degree at St. Luke's School of Nursing in Sioux City, IA in 1991and completed her bachelor's degree in science of nursing from Mount Marty College in 2008.

Upon application and approval to the South Dakota Board for Nursing Home Administrators, Thiesse completed her Administrator-in-Training requirement to sit for the national and state administrator testing. Thiesse received her license for South Dakota in September 2009.
