Two new physical therapists join Sanford Vermillion staff

Sanford Vermillion Medical Center is pleased to announce that Erin Vogel, DPT and Ryan Molencamp, DPT, have joined its staff.

Vogel and Molencamp join therapists Matt Hoyt, PT, Katie Walter, PT and Bob Brockevelt, PT in the Physical Therapy Department. Brockevelt, rehabilitation services manager, is happy to add Vogel and Molencamp to the current staff.

"We are very excited and feel fortunate to have Erin and Ryan as employees within our physical therapy department. They have both participated in clinical work as part of their USD education and are familiar with not only our facility, but many of our patients as well," said Brockevelt. "They bring updated information as well as a lot of enthusiasm to our team."

Erin (Busker) Vogel is a native of Elk Point. She received her bachelor's degree in biology from The University of South Dakota in Vermillion. Vogel was accepted into the USD Physical Therapy program and graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy (DPT), in May 2009.

"I am thrilled to serve the community as part of the Sanford Vermillion family," said Vogel.

She enjoys outside activities like golfing, running, family activities and walking her dog. Her husband, John, is a plumber for Barry's Plumbing. The couple resides in Vermillion.

Ryan Molencamp is a native of Clear Lake, IA. He received his bachelor's degree in psychology from The University of South Dakota in Vermillion and also played football for the USD Coyotes. Molencamp was accepted into the USD Physical Therapy program and graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy (DPT), in May 2009.

"I am very excited to have the opportunity to stay within the community of Vermillion. I very much appreciate the opportunity to work both in a general outpatient setting as well as the pediatrics programs. Working with the kids has been a lot of fun," said Molencamp.

Sanford Vermillion provides pediatric physical therapy services in partnership with the Vermillion School District and the Birth to 3 program. Ryan provides these services spending part of his time each week on-site during the school day to work directly with those children in need of services.

Ryan and his wife Molly enjoy spending time with friends and family in their free time. Molly is a graduate of The University of South Dakota and works in Canton as a dental hygienist.
