Glory will be the first featured selection for the February Film Festival. The free film will be shown on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Vermillion Public Library. Hot drinks and popcorn will be provided.
This month's film festival provides time for reflection on the significance of Black History Month. In Glory, Robert Gould Shaw leads the U.S. Civil War's first all-black volunteer company, fighting prejudices of both his own Union army and the Confederates.
