South Dakota football's Ko Quaye was named to the 2009 Sports Network Football Championship Subdivision All-America team, the Web site has announced.
A native of Brooklyn Park, MN, Quaye finished with 31 tackles during his senior season this fall to earn third-team defensive honors. He made 15 solo stops and earned seven tackles for loss for 22 yards. He also claimed half a sack, three quarterback hurries and one forced fumble. After the season he earned All-Great West Conference first-team accolades and was named USD's Defensive Player of the Year.
