Deborah M. Buschelman
Deborah M. Buschelman, 55, of Sioux City, IA, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at a Sioux City hospital from complications of a surgery. A memorial service was held 6 p.m. Monday, March 22, at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel in Sioux City, IA. A visitation was held starting one hour prior to service time. Deborah was born April 18, 1954 to Joseph and Helen (Oakie) Hirocke, Sr. in Sioux City, IA. She graduated from Vermillion High School in 1972 and attended college in Des Moines, IA. She was employed at Tyson Foods as a shipping clerk.
Deborah's favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, and going for drives. She had an infectious smile and was very quick to laugh. She was known as "Little Grandma" to many.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Roger of Sioux City, IA; daughters, Andrea "Andi" Iddings of Vermillion, and Miranda Rydstrom and her husband Dusty of Killeen, TX, her grandchildren, Taylor, Merragin, Nevaeh, and Jeric; her sisters, Nadine Burow of Yankton, JoAnn Mentzer of Ponca, NE, Rose Hirocke of Vermillion, Ella Hircoke of Gayville; her brothers, Raymond and Michael Hirocke of Massachesetts, Joe Hirocke, Jr. of Florida; several nieces and nephews, and an even larger extended family than most.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Les and Clifford Hirocke and Gordon Horn Eagle; sister Delores "Tiny" Druppeau; and nephew Mark.
