A benefit for Paul Dold, who is hospitalized after suffering a massive stroke in January, will be held at the Eagles Club in Vermillion on Friday, March 19.
A chicken and fish dinner will be served from 5 to 8 p.m.; a silent auction will be held from 5 to 9:30 p.m.; a live pie auction is scheduled for 6, 7 and 8 p.m., and the evening will conclude with entertainment by the Clay Creek Deaf Cowboy Band from 8 p.m. to midnight.
There will be a raffle for a 8×12 garden shed. The cost for dinner, dance and auction is $10 per person. Admission for the dinner only is $6 per person, and the cost to attend the dance or the auction only is $5 per person.
Free will donations are welcomed. All proceeds for this event will support Paul's recovery and medical expenses.
