Heartland Humane Society invites the community to celebrate spring with the first annual Mutt March. The event will be held at Cotton Park in Vermillion on Saturday, March 27 from 10 a.m. to noon. Registration will begin at 9 a.m.
The Mutt March is a fun event that will get you and your 4-legged friend out of the house after the long, cold winter. Walk with or without your dog. Heartland Humane Society's adoptable dogs will also be on hand to meet and walk with. Donations to the shelter will be accepted as well, with all proceeds going toward the care of our shelter pets.
"The Mutt March is a fun event where you can get out of the house and jump start your fitness plan for the summer," said Tasha Anderson, executive director at Heartland Humane Society. "It's a great way to get some exercise, feel good about yourself and have fun with your pet – or ours!"
The Mutt March fundraiser will be held at Cotton Park in Vermillion on March 27. A flyer is available online at www.heartlandhumanesociety.net or contact Tasha Anderson at 605-664-4244 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for complete details.
