Robert Leslie Bremer, 90, of Vermillion, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Sanford Vermillion Hospital.
Robert was born Dec. 22, 1919 in Salem, the son of William J. & Gertrude (Lange) Bremer. He graduated from Vermillion High School in 1937.
He married Viola Hansen on Aug. 19, 1945 in Meckling. He was a life-long farmer in Vermillion area. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Vermillion.
Survivors include his wife, Viola, of Vermillion; his son, Paul (Ruth) Bremer of Vermillion; his daughters, Patricia (James) Doohen of Sioux Falls, and Gayle (Dick) Johnson of Wakonda; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at United Methodist Church with Rev. Brook McBride officiating. Burial was in BluffView Cemetery, Vermillion. Visitation was 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, at Iverson-Siecke-Kober Funeral Home, Vermillion with family present from 6 to 7 p.m.. There was a prayer service at 7 p.m.
