The South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association has announced its Academic All-State teams for boys' and girls' basketball.
To qualify, a senior student-athlete or manager must have a 3.5 grade-point average or better and have participated for at least three years.
Vermillion athletes Sam Ekstrom, Cole Andre and Aaron Steel have been named to the team.
