The USD Symphony Orchestra will give a free concert on Friday, April 30 at 7:30 P.M. in Knutson Theatre, the Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts. The concert will feature the three winners of the orchestra's annual concerto competition, Megan Benz, flute; tenor Ryan Landis; and Adrian Ptacek, violin. The orchestra will also play Moussorgsky's exciting A Night on Bald Mountain.
For the second half of the program the orchestra will combine with the three USD choral ensembles – Men's and Women's Chorus, Concert Choir, and Chamber Singers, to perform the Missa Brevis in D Major, K. 194, by Mozart.
