An exhibit of watercolors by local artist, Sharon Gray, is currently on display in Sletwold Hall at the W. H. Over Museum. On Sunday, June 27 at 2:30 p.m. the Friends of the W. H. Over Museum will host a reception for the artist and Sharon will present a gallery talk at that time. Everyone is invited to attend and refreshments will be served.
Sharon's history as a watercolor artist is interesting and the pictures she is showing in the exhibit are primarily of rural scenes from the surrounding area. Sharon is also an accomplished musician and is a member of the faculty at Augustana College in Sioux Falls.
Several exhibits have been added or enhanced during the past several months. A display of ribbons won at various poultry shows by the Christol family are on display in the foyer. The Lions have a display in honor of their 50th anniversary year in Vermillion. Marie Anne Ben has her extensive display of elephants on display, also.
