Ford named to dean’s honor list

Lydia Ford, daughter of Steven and Pamela Ford of Vermillion, was named to the dean's honor list at Morningside College for the 2010 spring semester.

Each semester the dean's honor list recognizes students who achieve a 3.67 grade point average or better and complete at least 12 credits of course work with no grade below a "C-."

Morningside College enrolled 2,036 full-time and part-time students for the 2009 fall term and welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds. Morningside offers five bachelor's degrees, including a bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of music, bachelor of music education, and of nursing, and a master of arts in teaching degree. The college was founded in 1894 by the Methodist Episcopal Church and remains affiliated with the United Methodist Church today.
