During the months of June and July, Splashy Summer Shows will be offered free to the public at the Vermillion Public Library. A total of eight movies will be shown during this film festival. These splashy shows are in keeping with the summer reading program theme of water.
The first featured film, "The Perfect Storm," will be shown on Wednesday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Vermillion Public Library. Lemonade and popcorn will be provided.
In "The Perfect Storm," an unusually intense storm pattern catches some commercial fishermen unaware and puts them in mortal danger.
