With their regional tournament still two weeks away, Vermillion's 15-16 VFW Teeners will take over Prentis Park for three nights of home games next week.
On Monday Dakota Valley comes in, followed by the Yankton 15s on Tuesday and Lennox on Thursday.
Bill Settles' ballclub went 2-2 in the Black Sox/Grey Sox VFW Tournament in Yankton over last weekend.
The host Black Sox dealt Vermillion a 3-0 loss on Friday as Yankton's Alex Mueller allowed Vermillion only one hit, that coming in the top of the seventh inning.
Vermillion rallied for a 7-6 Friday win over the Yankton Grey Sox, coming from behind and scoring two in the seventh to post the victory. Earlier in the game Vermillion had rallied from a 5-1 deficit to tie the game, only to see Yankton edge ahead again, 6-5.
On Saturday Vermillion's Chayse Meierkort kept Dakota Valley hitless until the seventh inning in a 5-2 victory. His team scored once in the third and twice each in the fourth and sixth. Cody Sommervold had a pair of doubles, and Caleb Miller hit two singles in the Vermillion win.
Sommervold doubled again in a game against Wagner later in the day, but Wagner won the game 6-2, thanks primarily to a five-run second inning. Collin Bertram pitched for Vermillion.
